Functions:
Click print after completing the steps below.
- Select the form to be printed: Here you can select which form you would like to print. Choose the Supplementary, the Summary, or the Audit Report.
- Parameters: Here you can select which submission number you are printing/generating, which copies to print, which employees to create forms for, and add additional notes. This section is for supplementaries only.
- Optional Items: Here you can select which items to include, such as the payroll account number and employer name/address on the T4 summary.
- Report Type: Here you can select which report you'd like to print. This section is for audit reports only.
- Page Alignments: Here you can adjust the paper margins.
Description:
This window will allow you to select which forms you would like to preview/print and how to print them.
- Navigate to Forms > T4 > Print.
- In the Select the form to be printed section, select either "Supplementary" for employees' T4 slips, "Summary" for the T4 summary, or "Audit Report".
- If printing the supplementaries:
- In the Parameters section, select the first and last employee to print. You can select the same employee in both of the boxes to print only one T4 slip.
- Identify the type of supplementary you'd like to print for the selected employees - either the CRA copies, recipient (employee) copies, employer copies, or instructions. You may also choose to print the note for additional/amended/cancelled slips.
Note: You may only print the employer address if you are printing the recipient copies.
- If printing the summary, identify if you want to include the optional items.
- If printing an audit report, identify which report you want to print.
- The T4 Summary Totals Audit Report will identify the totals for each box on the T4.
- The Blank EI Earnings, Pensionable Earnings, or Employment Income Report identifies blank T4s, where the insurable earnings, pensionable earnings, or employment income are blank, empty, or null.
- The EI Earnings and Pensionable Earnings Discrepancy Report will identify employees who have insurable earnings or pensionable earnings that are different than their employment income.
- The EI Premiums Discrepancy Report will identify employees who have discrepancies between their employment insurance contributions and their insurable earnings.
- The CPP/QPP Contributions Discrepancy Report will identify employees who have discrepancies between their pension contributions and their pensionable earnings.
- The Bad Social Insurance Number Report identifies employees who have an invalid social insurance number (SIN).
- In the Alignment section, you can add or remove margins to fit your paper.
- Click "Print" to print the selected form, or "Preview" to print-preview the form.
