Problem:

Error encountered while exporting payroll information from Paymate or importing payroll information into GL package.

Solution:

Export:

Clarity has many different accounting interfaces within the program. An error encountered during the export of one of these different interface exports, however rare, may occur. You will need to make accurate notes as to what error message was received, and exactly what point you were at when receiving this message, and call Paymate Support for diagnosis and resolution.

Import:

An error message received while importing into your accounting package is usually due to an improperly formatted Import File. If you receive an error, verify that the export format you have chosen in Paymate is indeed set to the correct accounting package. If you have chosen the incorrect format, you can simply re-run the export from Paymate, and continue on with the import procedure. If you have chosen the correct format, it is recommended that you contact the vendor of your accounting package for further information.
