Problem:
Clarity gives an "Invalid License file" error message when I start the program.
Causes:
This is typically caused by having multiple users and Clarity being unable to locate the license file location.
Solution:
Steps:
- Start Paymate Clarity on the current existing workstation\Server where the program currently functions.
- Log into any company.
- From the top tab, go to the help > License information.
- Write down location of license file.
- Go to the computer where Clarity is not working.
- On the computer where Clarity is not working, go to the directory where Clarity is installed (typically C:/Program Files/Clarity)
- Right click the file called Clarity.config (for USA Clarityus.config) and select open with. Choose the notepad.
- There is a line that says LicenseFileDir=XXXX.
- Delete the location after the equal sign (e.g. =XXXX) and enter location from Step 3.
- Restart the program.
