Problem:
Can Paymate be installed on more than one computer pointing to the same data? Or do I need a special version?
Solution:
Paymate can be installed on multiple computers in the same network. To point them to the same database then you must:
- Install the program on the new computer you will temporarily use the program in Evaluation mode.
- Close the company select screen.
- Go To Setup > Preferences.
- Change the working directory to the Network or Shared folder directory that is hosting your payroll data.
The program will pick up the license file automatically from this location along with the available company databases
